Hey There! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend! Our family had a great time with our family that came to stay with us for a few days. We had lots of food, an egg hunt and dyed eggs.
We also continued our tradition of making our bunny cake. We have made one every year since the girls were born! Fun times! Here are a couple of pictures of our bunny cake this year... Keep in mind that the girls decorate it!! lol
It is made using two 9" round cakes. The first one you leave in the circle shape. That becomes his head. The second circle becomes his ears and bowtie. You cut a football shape from each side of the circle, and then the middle part left is his bowtie. Assemble it on a jelly roll pan & icing... It's that simple!!

I love these! My aunt made them the same way when I was little. She would put coconut on it to look like fur :)
Cute- the girls and the cake. My sister has made the bunny cake each year since her 12 yr old son was born. Gotta love traditions.
