Princess Card

Hi Friends!  I got a new princess die cut & have been "die"ing to use it!  hehehe :)  I am going to use one for a birthday card for my niece in a couple of weeks.  I thought I would snap a few pictures as I was making it to show you how easy card making can be!

To make the card, I sandwiched the die in between two B plates for the Cuttlebug.  For those of you that aren't famililiar with with the Cuttlebug, it is basically an embossing machine that also workes with dies.

Next, you roll in through the Cuttlebug.  It's a tight fit, but with a little muscle you can crank it through just fine! :)

Here's what it looks like after it comes out of the Cuttlebug.  Just peel away the scraps & you are left with a beautiful princess crown.

I wanted to give my crown a little sparkle, so I added some of my favorite Stickles!  (Please ignore that hideous skin around my thumbnail...ewww is all I can say!  A manicure is on my to-do list!)

Oh... I thought I should tell you that your die will leave marks on your B plate.  It's no big deal & will cut just the same!  Don't freak! :)

My original plan was to put it on the white cardstock for the card, but it was just not working for me.  That happens a lot!

I put a black mat behind it to make the crown POP!  I love it now!
