We found a house!

I am so excited that we found a house and have a contract on it!!!  I LOVE everything about it and knew it was the one before I even looked at all the rooms.

We are scheduled to move in mid December.  That means LOTS of packing for me!  I have so many decorating ideas rolling through my head right now! 

Can't wait to get started!

I decorated the dog!

Poor Maggie! I will decorate anything I get my hands on... Even the dog! Ha!

Front Door Decor!

I spiced up my front door! I found an ugly blue metal basket with a pink cat on it at a yard sale & knew that I could do something with it. Sorry I didn't take a before picture of it!

I spray painted the basket white and then put a layer of mod podge over the napkin after I placed it where I wanted it. I very carefully peeled the top layer off of the napkin first.

I let it dry for a few minutes and then put a thin layer over the top. After that dried I put a light brown glaze over the whole thing to age it a bit.

This is the type of napkin that I used... I used up all of my P's so I had to snap a picture of my J napkins! Just cut around the outline before you peel off the top layer.

I added the flowers and was finished! I LOVE my new cute front door now! Gotta love a project like this that was under $5!!!

Monkey Monday!

Hello everyone! I used my Create A Critter cartridge to make this adorable monkey for a card for my daughter. I LOVE this monkey!

I cut him at 3.5 inches. I had to trim the vine a little to make it fit the way I wanted it to.  I used my Provo Craft Gypsy to create the layout!  It was so easy!

I'm thinking about doing a giveaway this week for all my followers so be sure & check back!!!

Hair Flower Fun!

I have been making these fun hair flowers today!  They are so easy to make and look adorable!  These would also look great on picture frames, decor for a girls room, and many other things... The possibilities are endless!


To make these, just cut different sized circles out of satin.  Burn around the edges with a candle & hot glue the layers together!  I added a crystal to the center to bling it up a little!
