Front Porch Flowers!

I have had so much fun working on my flowers this Spring!  The weather has been amazing!  I found a cute tiered planter at Hobby Lobby on sale for $30 & knew I could do something with it!  You could use it for several things... I thought about putting in our master bathroom to roll towels up in, but decided it would work great as a planter to add vertical color to the front porch.

Our front porch.  I LOVE to sit outside and enjoy the pretty weather!

A close up shot of my tiered planter.

Here are a couple of the outside of our home.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you all have a fabulous day!

Craft room tables got a makeover!

Hi Everyone!  I have been in my new house for a year now and have slowly been working on my dream craft room.  I LOVE not having to craft at the kitchen table anymore!

I have three brown 5 foot folding tables in my craft room that I have been wanting to pretty up.  I had several ideas floating around in my head and decided to go with the least expensive choice.  I'm kind of cheap like that! Ha!
I started my table makeover by covering the the tables with wrapping paper, yes.... WRAPPING PAPER!  I already had this on hand.  Woo Hoo!!!  I just trimmed around the edges to match the rounded corners of the table.
I purchased enough clear vinyl at Hobby Lobby to cover all three tables.  I got a little extra to staple the edges under the table.  I had a 40% off coupon, so I got all the vinyl for around $13.  Sweet!
My cat, Max enjoyed taking a nap on the vinyl backing paper.  He's such a helper!  He's ALWAYS with me when I'm working in my craft room!  I just cut each piece of vinyl to fit the tables and stapled around the bottom with a staple gun.  Easy Peasy!
Here's a picture of the finished product!  I love how it turned out!  It adds so much fun and whimsy to my craft room!  It was soooooo worth the out of pocket expense of $13 and about 1 hour of my time!
Here's a picture of two of the tables pushed together to make a large work area.  The other table is against a wall & is my sewing table.
