I'm alive!

Long time no see....

In the last two weeks:

*  I was diagnosed with mono and bronchitis.

*  Have been busy packing up the house for an out of state move.

* My husband and daughter were in a wreck that totaled the truck.  Thanks goodness that they were not hurt!

*  We had major damage to our wood floors in our old house from the moving company.  All need replaced...

*  Our washing machine and hot water heater broke in our old house right before move out.

*  The movers underestimated the amount of items we had to move and were not able to move it all on the first trip.

*  Moved OUT OF STATE!

*  Put on round 2 of antibiotics for bronchitis...not getting better.  :(

*  Master bathroom shower leak in brand new house.

So there are a few reasons why I have not been posting!  LOL!

Hoping we get settled in and in a routine soon.  The girls start their new schools on Monday and we are all nervous about that!

Hot Chocolate Gift Bags!

Hello everyone!

How fun are these??? My little one and I whipped these up to give to her teacher. They are super simple to assemble and look really cute packaged up!






Recipe:
Pretzel clear bags from Michael's
Hot cocoa packets
Chocolate chips
Marshmallows

Layer the ingredients in the bags and fold cardstock over the top and staple together.

Plop them in a Dollar Tree glass candle holder and tie a ribbon on it!

I wanted to cut vinyl and put her name on the glass holder, BUT we are moving in a couple of days and that would have sent me over the edge!!! So I'll have to be happy with it just like this! :)

I am packing up a storm! Not much time for crafty fun, but that will change when we get moved in and I can play in my new craft room!!!

Three more days before the big out of state move! I'm really nervous!

Flower Birthday Card

I made a quick birthday card this morning and (gasp) didn't even use my cricut! We are moving in 9 days and it is all packed up!

It was fun to take a little break from packing. Now back to work!

Gingerbread Houses!

The girls and I had a fun time decorating gingerbread houses! This is something we do every year together.  Such a fun way to start the holiday season!

How many of you decorate gingerbread houses each year too?  So many fun memories with my girls!
