I recently moved to Oklahoma from Texas a few months ago and have finally unpacked & organized my craft room.  It was so fun to have a craft room of my own to work on this card!  Lots of fun projects to come in the future!

I decided to use green, orange, turqoise, and wanted to add another color.... Of course I chose pink! :)

Cake Balls!

Cake balls are all the rage right now & I've been dying to try them. They were so much fun to make!

The process is really simple:
1- Mix and bake the cake mix according to the directions on the box.

2- Let the cake cool & then crumble up in pieces into a bowl.

3- Mix in desired flavor of icing. I just used a container of the store bought kind.

4- Roll into balls & put on cookie sheet. Set in the freezer for about 20 minutes.

5- Now melt the colored candy chips. I got mine at Hobby Lobby. You can do this in the microwave or on the stove top. I don't have a double boiler, so I just put a bowl over a pan of boiling water.

6- Dip the cake balls in the chocolate candy & sprinkle with sprinkles!!! I just lay them on wax paper to harden.

Aren't they pretty? They even taste better than they look!
