Paper punch organization

Hi crafty friends!
I have a new project to share!  I prettied up my ugly punch holder and am "tickled pink" with how it turned out!  It is a perfect way to organize all of my paper punches!

I grabbed my trusty hot glue gun and some fun grosgrain ribbon and went to work.  Look how cute & fun it looks now!!

Below is a VERY sad before...  Elephants are NOT my thing!  I picked up the elephant holder at TJ Max for around $9.00.  I knew I could bring fun life to it! :)

Blah, blah, blah to FUNKY!  I LOVE a good before & after!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

TV Organization

My hubby got a new TV recently, and we were in need of a better way to store all of the equipment.  My hubby took pencil to paper and came up with a plan to fix our problem!  He built a platform for the TV to stand on, while the equipment could be stored below.  Whoo Hoo for my hubby!

Below is a before picture of the mess:

My hubby working in his man shed, aka (the 3rd car garage).

He has skills... He's talking on his cell phone AND working!  haha!

Here is a picture of the completed project!  Much better!

And a close up of the finished project!  We eventually want to have built ins installed on each side of the fireplace, but this will work just fine until the BIG project happens!

Have a wonderful day!  Thanks for stopping by!

Quick Thank You Cards

Hey!  Hope you all are having a great day.  I am, for sure.  I just got my hair cut & colored and feel like a new woman!!  Whoo Hoo!

I wanted to share some fun thank you cards that I whipped up for some of my husband's agent's wives.  I made them to go with gift baskets that we gave them.  I wish I would have taken a picture of the cute gift baskets, but I didn't... Oh well!

They were super easy, and took me less than 20 minutes to put them together.  I already had all the card stock, printed paper, ribbon and stamps on hand.  So they didn't cost anything either!

Master Bedroom Tour!

Hi Everyone!  I have had a couple of emails asking to see pictures of my new house.  I was a little hesitant at first, but quickly thought it would be fun to share.  I LOVE to look through pictures of other bloggers homes!

This is what the master bedroom looked like before we moved in.  I couldn't wait to get started to make it our own relaxing space!

Here are the after pictures!

The B & J are our initials... Love how they turned out!  The Treasure Island storage book boxes came from Hobby Lobby.  My favorite place to shop!

Funny story about the headboard...  My crazy sister and I are known to go shopping together and come home with large pieces of furniture.  We went out one day and my hubby specifically stated "NO LARGE FURNITURE PURCHASE!"  I just happened to find this massive beautiful solid wood king size headboard & knew I HAD to bring it home with me.  (It was only $150.00!)  My smart sister and I quickly came up with a plan that is was a "wall hanging" & didn't take up any space!  It worked & he instantly fell in love with the "wall hanging" too!  Not one regret over that purchase!

The bedding came from Dillards.  I LOVE it!

Hope you enjoyed the room tour!  Stay tuned... I will be posting the master bathroom pictures in a few days!

Thanks so much for visiting Jillify It!

Monkey Valentines!

We just finished making my youngest daughter's Valentine treats for her class!  I think they turned out really cute!

My daughter helped me on this project.  She's nine and VERY crafty, so she had a blast!  We completed a few each day after school and had a fun time together!  I first saw the idea here & knew we had to make these!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Craft room tables got a makeover!

Hi Everyone!  I have been in my new house for a year now and have slowly been working on my dream craft room.  I LOVE not having to craft at the kitchen table anymore!

I have three brown 5 foot folding tables in my craft room that I have been wanting to pretty up.  I had several ideas floating around in my head and decided to go with the least expensive choice.  I'm kind of cheap like that! Ha!
I started my table makeover by covering the the tables with wrapping paper, yes.... WRAPPING PAPER!  I already had this on hand.  Woo Hoo!!!  I just trimmed around the edges to match the rounded corners of the table.
I purchased enough clear vinyl at Hobby Lobby to cover all three tables.  I got a little extra to staple the edges under the table.  I had a 40% off coupon, so I got all the vinyl for around $13.  Sweet!
My cat, Max enjoyed taking a nap on the vinyl backing paper.  He's such a helper!  He's ALWAYS with me when I'm working in my craft room!  I just cut each piece of vinyl to fit the tables and stapled around the bottom with a staple gun.  Easy Peasy!
Here's a picture of the finished product!  I love how it turned out!  It adds so much fun and whimsy to my craft room!  It was soooooo worth the out of pocket expense of $13 and about 1 hour of my time!
Here's a picture of two of the tables pushed together to make a large work area.  The other table is against a wall & is my sewing table.

Valentine's Day Banner

I made my first ever banner!  My crafty friend, Pam & I got together for a craft day a few days ago and made Valentine's Day banners!  They were super easy to make & no sewing was involved!

We used a cream colored fabric for the banner base and then used the Cricut to cut out the black fabric letters.  We ironed on the webbing first so that we could just iron on the letters after they were cut out.  The hearts were just hand cut and ironed on.

We punched holes in the banner pennants and then put the twine through.  That was it!  Below is a picture of the banner in my entryway.  So cute for Valentine's Day without being over the top!

I think I'm going to have to make one for every holiday & season!  LOVE it!
