Fun Day!

It's dark outside now.  I just came in from covering our driveway and sidewalks in drawings with my youngest daughter.  We had a great day together, just the two of us.  I have chalk all over my legs and up to my elbows!

We had lunch together, made a slushie run, went to Hobby Lobby, created in the craft room, played on the playground, and beautified the driveway... 

Having one on one time with each child is wonderful.  What a great day! :)

Happiness Sign

Happy Tuesday!  I am so happy that I finally got around to "Jillify" my happiness sign for my craft room!  It has been on my to do list for a while now.

Below is a picture of how it looked before.  It's not horrible, it just didn't match my room.  I got it at Ross for $5.00!

Here she is after a coat of beautiful hot pink spray paint!

 Now to pretty her up & make her HAPPY!

I just used my tape runner to attach some 3/8" ribbon to it.  I didn't use hot glue in case I changed my mind on the ribbon later.

Next, I used my fancy Imaginisce to attach some crystals to the ribbon.  It needed a little bling!

I tied a pretty wired ribbon bow to the last S and she is all done!  

 Happiness... The perfect word for me when I'm creating in my craft room!

Hi!  I had a fabulous Spring Break with my girls last week!  Now that they are back in school, I can get some projects done.  I painted my master bathroom yesterday for 5 hours and still have the ceiling to finish!  It is looking so pretty... It's the perfect gray!  I'll post pictures when I'm all finished with it!

Dresser Before & After

Hey there!  Since moving to our new home a year ago, I have switched to a much lighter color scheme.  Our old house had a lot of dark greens, reds and golds.  It was pretty, but I was tired of it!  The decor of our new house has more of a french theme, with a lot of creams, browns & light blue gray.  

I have been wanting to paint the green dresser for a while now, and finally committed to doing it.  I LOVE how it turned out!
